Position Qualifications:

- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred

- Standard First Aid- CPR C-AED

- Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Screen

We are looking for staff that are warm, caring, responsive individuals that concentrate on building positive relationships with children, families, colleagues and the community.

Experience with children between 6 months to 4 years.

Description of Position:

- Plan and deliver quality child care in accordance with the Child Care and Early Years Act and “How Does Learning Happen”

- Work collaboratively and cooperatively with the Centre staff and management team

- Work collaboratively with parents to build strong, trusting relationships

- Collaborate with children to co-plan and implement a child-centered and play-based curriculum.





- Use a variety of materials to intentionally create or adapt indoor and outdoor learning environments that support children’s exploration and learning

Additional Responsibilities:

- Attend staff meeting monthly held after hours (full time staff only)

- Participate in Professional Learning opportunities

- Update First Aid as required

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
