Duties
- Provide therapeutic massage treatments based on client assessments and specific health concerns
- Develop personalized treatment plans that align with clients’ wellness goals
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including treatment notes and progress reports
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and post-treatment recommendations to enhance results
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment in compliance with health regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and explain treatment procedures clearly
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques,
and relevant medical terminology.
Experience
- Certification as a Registered Massage Therapist from an accredited program is required
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and wellness
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients
- Effective communication skills to clearly explain treatments
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented attitude
