- Keep detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant health information in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or referrals when necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols,
including proper sanitation procedures and maintaining a clean treatment environment.
- Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Registered Massage Therapist with valid certification from an accredited licensing body.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and therapeutic treatments.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming, empathetic environment for clients.
- Effective communication skills to clearly explain treatment plans and address client concerns confidently.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members in a rapid-paced setting.
- Prior experience working with diverse populations is preferred but not required; a genuine passion for helping others is essential.
