Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) — Pre-Opening Spa Team

Help shape our spa from the beginning

Our new spa is preparing to open, and we’re seeking a Registered Massage Therapist to join our opening team.

We’re looking for someone who combines sound clinical judgment with warm, attentive guest care. You’ll help prepare the spa for opening, establish treatment-room routines and deliver individualized massage therapy within a hotel and spa setting.

What you’ll do

- Conduct assessments and provide massage therapy tailored to each client’s needs, goals and informed consent.
- Maintain professional boundaries, appropriate draping and clear communication throughout treatment.
- Complete accurate clinical records and protect client confidentiality.
- Prepare and reset your treatment room using appropriate cleaning and infection-prevention practices.
- Coordinate appointment timing with reception, allowing for documentation and room turnover.
- Recommend follow-up care when clinically appropriate.

Your role before opening

- Participate in orientation and walkthroughs of the spa.
- Provide input on treatment-room setup, equipment and supplies.
- Help test booking,

client intake and appointment procedures.
- Help establish practical routines for opening and closing treatment rooms.

What you’ll bring

- Current registration with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO), authorizing you to practise by your start date.
- Current professional liability insurance.
- Solid assessment, treatment-planning, consent and documentation skills.
- Professional communication and a thoughtful approach to client comfort and care.
- Reliability, teamwork and availability for the agreed schedule.

Experience in a spa, hotel, resort or clinical practice is an asset. Newly registered RMTs are welcome to apply.
