At One Peace Therapy, we are expanding our team and looking for a committed, professional, and compassionate Registered Psychotherapist to join our practice.

One Peace Therapy is a private practice dedicated to providing holistic psychotherapy and nutrition services to individuals, couples, families, and groups across Canada. Our mission is to support BIPOC and non-BIPOC clients in navigating the intersectionality of mental health, culture, socioeconomic status, physical health, and oppression. We aim to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where clients can thrive.

What We Are Looking For: We are seeking a practitioner who embodies empathy, independence, and teamwork. The ideal candidate is someone who works with integrity, takes initiative, and has a client-centered approach to care. Specifically, you bring:

- Expertise: Experience working with a range of mental health concerns, including but not limited to trauma, anxiety, depression, identity concerns, addictions, grief, and stress.
- Theoretical Approach: A strong foundation in evidence-based frameworks such as Emotion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy or Dialectical Behavioural Therapy.
- Diverse Clientele: Ability to work with individuals, couples, families, and/or children and youth under 16 years old.
- Flexibility:



Availability for weekends, one daytime shift, and one evening shift per week.
- Skills: Strong documentation, organization, communication, and case conceptualization abilities, including treatment planning.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with therapeutic platforms (e.g., Jane).
- Cultural Competence: A personal understanding of intersectionality, with preference for candidates who identify as Persons of Colour (POC).

Requirements:

- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline.
- Registration (in good standing) with a regulated college (e.g., CRPO, OCSWSSW, CPO).
- Professional liability insurance.
- Supervisor in place (if under qualifying status).
- Experience in mental health counseling or related fields.
- Familiarity with community mental health resources.
- Certifications in specialized modalities (e.g., EMDR, sex therapy) are considered assets.
- Ability to practice psychotherapy across Canada is a strong asset.

What You’ll Do:

- Provide psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families.
- Conduct ethical and evidence-based therapy, maintaining client confidentiality.
- Develop treatment plans and conduct risk assessments, including crisis management.
- Document all sessions thoroughly and on time.
- Facilitate webinars or presentations on mental health topics of your choice.




- Collaborate with other team members and attend monthly team meetings.
- Help market your services while supported by our administrative and marketing team.
