About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Relationship Manager to join their corporate banking division in East London. This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of corporate clients, understanding their financial needs, and providing tailored banking solutions. You will act as the primary point of contact, building strong, long-term relationships and ensuring client satisfaction while identifying opportunities for cross-selling various banking products. Key Responsibilities

- Manage and nurture a portfolio of existing corporate clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the corporate client base.
- Understand clients' financial requirements and provide appropriate banking solutions (loans, cash management, trade finance, etc.).
- Conduct financial analysis and due diligence on prospective and existing clients.




- Prepare credit proposals and manage the credit assessment process for corporate clients.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to effectively serve clients.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate banking, relationship management, or a similar client-facing role.
- Proven track record in client acquisition, relationship management, and sales within the financial services industry.
- Robust understanding of corporate finance, credit analysis, and various banking products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
