Pacific Cove Properties is a BC-owned and operated property management company providing rental accommodation to almost 3000 families and individuals in communities throughout British Columbia, including Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island, and the Okanagan.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable Residential Cleaner to join the on-site team at Cypress Glen. This role is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming common areas and preparing turnover suites for incoming tenants.

Working closely with the building management team, you will complete regular cleaning tasks, support property upkeep, and communicate concerns that affect the cleanliness and presentation of the building.

This is a temporary leave-coverage position offering approximately 12–18 hours per week across three shifts, with four to six hours per shift. On-site training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of building common areas, including entrances, hallways, and shared spaces.
- Complete routine cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning windows and glass surfaces.
- Complete move-in and move-out cleaning to prepare turnover suites for incoming tenants.




- Ensure areas are cleaned promptly following maintenance and repair work.
- Build positive relationships with tenants, address cleaning-related concerns professionally, and communicate issues to building management.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and monitor supplies, notifying management when replenishment is required.
- Collaborate with on-site staff to maintain cleaning standards, follow company safety procedures, and report maintenance concerns or hazards.

- Reliability and consistent follow-through on assigned responsibilities.
- Effective organization and time management, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a consistent standard of cleanliness.
- Practical problem-solving skills and sound judgment when addressing cleaning concerns.
- A high sense of integrity and respect for tenant privacy, belongings, and company property.
- Ability to carry out hands-on cleaning duties involving standing, walking, bending, and repetitive movements throughout a shift.

Education and Experience:

- Commercial or residential cleaning experience preferred.
- Experience cleaning residential apartment buildings is an asset.
- WHMIS certification and knowledge of safe handling and use of cleaning products.
