Role Description:

The Insurance Broker (RIBO) role is a full-time, on-site or remote position based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The broker will advise clients on personal and commercial insurance products, assess coverage needs, and prepare tailored insurance proposals. Day-to-day responsibilities include quoting and binding policies, processing renewals and endorsements, and managing policy changes in a timely and accurate manner.

The role involves responding to inquiries, explaining coverage options, handling claims-related questions, and maintaining strong client relationships through proactive communication and follow-up. The broker will work with multiple insurers, stay current on market trends and policy wording,



and adhere to RIBO and company compliance standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Licensing: Active RIBO License (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) in good standing is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a RIBO licensed insurance broker in Ontario.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Insurance Brokerage and Insurance, including personal and commercial lines.
- Understanding of Finance concepts related to insurance premiums, deductibles, risk assessment, and overall financial planning.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build long-term client relationships.
- Proficiency with insurance quoting and broker management systems, and comfort working with multiple carriers.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple client files simultaneously.
