ROCK TRUCK DRIVERS - DRAFT

Location: Timmins Ontario
Wage: $29.00–$31.47/hour
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off — Days & Nights For those of you that do not live in Timmins - You will receive a $60/ day food allowance, travel reimbursment based on their travel costs to Timmins, and we will also provide you with either a room at one of our houses or a hotel room.
Overview
Join our dynamic construction team as a Rock Truck Operator and become a vital part of our mine site construction operations! In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating rock trucks to transport materials across construction sites, ensuring efficient workflow and maintaining high safety standards. Your expertise will help keep projects on track, supporting the successful completion of large-scale infrastructure and development initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate rock trucks to move aggregates, soil, and other construction materials around the site.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment, including checking fluid levels, brakes, lights, and tires to ensure optimal operation.
- Assist with loading materials using loaders, excavators, or other heavy machinery as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding equipment status and project progress.
- Maintain accurate logs of material movements and equipment usage for reporting purposes.
- Support other heavy equipment operations such as dozers, graders, backhoes, or horizontal drills when required.
Skills
- Proven experience operating rock trucks in a construction or mining setting.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic issues with heavy equipment.
- Proficiency in operating loaders, excavators, backhoes, graders, and horizontal drilling machinery.
- Valid G class License with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar (CAT) equipment and other heavy machinery brands.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and adhere to strict safety guidelines.
