Tampa, FL 33610, USA Description - Provides administrative support to the Environmental Health and Safety Director - Maintains administrative control of records related to safetyprograms - Creates professional Power Point trainings and coordinates safety training foremployees - Prepares and distributes memos andreports - Coordinates safety training for new employees - Prepares and distributes memos andreports - Compiles andmaintainscase and claim files withappropriatedocumentation - Initiates communication and collaborates with employees/clients andinsurance providersto control lossesas a result ofproperty damage - Administers all aspects of workers compensation to include, but not limited to obtaining and reviewing documents, such as photographs, police reports, damageestimatesand preparing reports for submission to the insuranceprovider Job Requirements - Two years to four years of college preferred, or related experience in workers’ compensation/liability claims administration - Must be able todemonstrateknowledge of and experience with MicrosoftEXCEL,WORDand POWERPOINT at an intermediate level as necessary to perform the tasks required of this position - Some related experience with OSHA,DOTor general safety - Ability to prioritize tasksin order toachieve goals and meetdeadlines - Mustpossessexcellent verbal and written communicationskills - Ability tomaintaina qualified demeanorin order torepresentthe organization in a professionalmanner - Must be able to work full-time (40 hours/ week) in a corporateenvironment - Must have excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels in theorganization - Must pay attention to detail andpossessexcellent follow-throughskills - Must be able to work independently (without supervision) - Bi-lingual preferred, but notrequired - Minimal Travel for training seminars The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
