About the Role

Permanent LED lighting is one of the hottest upgrades in home exteriors right now. Homeowners get custom, app-controlled lights installed once and use them year round for holidays, events, game days, and everyday curb appeal, with no more ladders or tangled strings every season. We're looking for a closer who wants to own the sale from first handshake to signed booking.

This Is a Commission-Only Role

Let's be upfront: there is no hourly wage, no base salary, and no guaranteed pay. You earn when you close. If you're looking for a steady hourly paycheque, this isn't the role for you. If you'd rather be paid for what you actually produce, keep reading.

Total Schedule Flexibility

You set your availability, and we only book appointments during the hours you choose. Work a few evenings a week or go full time. This role fits easily alongside another job.

Home shows typically run 30 minutes to an hour. We route plan your appointments as best we can to keep your driving to a minimum, though some days you'll still need to cross town.

What You'll Earn

Right now is peak season for permanent lighting, and our closers are currently booking around 75% of appointments.

- Average job size: around $3,000
- Average commission: around $250 per sale
- Commission range: $100 to $1,000 per sale, depending on the price you sell at
- At current close rates, that works out to roughly $185 per appointment on average, for a show that usually takes under an hour
- You control the price. Hold firm and earn more, or lower the price (and your commission) to find the sweet spot that closes the deal. Your pay is in your hands.

What You'll Do





- Run in-home appointments with pre-qualified leads. We bring you the leads; you bring the close.
- Present our permanent LED lighting using a hands-on demo box
- Take accurate measurements of each home. This is critical: if measurements are inaccurate, commission on that sale is void.
- Use solid persuasion and consultative selling skills to get clients booked
- Follow up with your leads by phone and decide when and how much to adjust pricing to win the job
- Sell at the highest price the client will commit to

Who We're Looking For

- Proven sales experience, ideally in-home, high-ticket, or door-to-door sales
- Highly self-motivated and driven by results, not a clock
- Confident, personable, and comfortable presenting face to face
- Detail-oriented enough to get measurements right every time
- Persistent with follow-up without being pushy
- Smart with pricing and comfortable negotiating
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver's licence, and a smartphone
