As a Publisher, you operate as the director of your market, leveraging a proven system, professional design team, and back-office support so you can focus on building relationships with local business owners.

Primary Responsibilities

- Business Development: Meet face-to-face with local business owners to present multi-channel advertising solutions (print, digital, and online media) tailored to their target audience.
- Consultative Selling: Educate small businesses on how to build brand recognition, top-of-mind awareness (TOMA), and long-term customer trust.
- Publication Oversight: Oversee the overall growth, sponsorship, and moving parts of your local publication.
- Community Connection: Champion positive, uplifting local content by highlighting area families, neighborhood events, and local achievements.

Candidate Qualifications No prior publishing or media experience is required! We provide full training on how to run and grow the publication. However, successful candidates typically possess the following qualities:

- Robust communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and resilience.
- Must have a reliable vehicle, laptop, mobile phone, and high-speed internet connection.

*Note: As an independent contractor role, this position does not qualify for Permanent Residency (PR) point accrual. Pay: $38,800.00-$143,000.00 per year
