Position Overview Reporting to, and in close collaboration with the Senior Sales Manager,APAC, this individual will be responsible for managing sales activities across an assigned territory, including existing customers, resellers/distributors, and new business opportunities. The successful candidate will manage new business coming in through phone, email, trade shows, targeted outbound efforts, referrals, and other lead sources. This person will work to promote and facilitate the marketing of Merrithew® products within their assigned territory to drive sales revenue from existing customers while developing new business opportunities and strengthening the company’s reseller and distributor network. The Sales Manager will work closely with the Senior Sales Manager and cross-functional teams to support customer growth, partner development, and overall business objectives. Administrative support is available through the Customer Service team for matters such as replacement parts and damaged shipments,



as well as through Sales Coordination for qualifying new leads and other sales opportunities.

Major Responsibilities Sales

- Promote, negotiate, sell, and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based, consultative sales approach.
- Respond with a sense of urgency to customer and prospect inquiries and prepare written presentations, proposals, and price quotes.
- Manage the onboarding of new customers and business partners. Work with the Senior Sales Manager and relevant internal teams to determine the appropriate tools, resources, and procedures.
- Develop comprehensive product knowledge across all lines of business to identify competitive features and benefits and effectively present Company products and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners to support retention, account growth, and long-term commercial opportunities.
- Report to management on customer needs, challenges, interests, competitive activities, market developments, and potential opportunities for new products and services.
- Consistently work toward achieving and exceeding assigned sales targets and revenue objectives.

Business Development

- Develop comprehensive market knowledge within assigned territories to identify new accounts, market opportunities, and account-specific sales opportunities.
- Develop and execute effective prospecting strategies using a variety of channels, including social media, industry networks, trade associations, referrals, events, and targeted outbound activities.
- Identify and develop potential reseller and distributor relationships to expand the Company’s market presence.
- Attend and participate in trade shows, conventions, sales meetings, product seminars, and other industry events.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and proactively move qualified opportunities through the sales process.

Administrative / Customer Service

- Manage forecasts, close deals, and maintain accurate customer and opportunity data using the Company’s standard CRM tools.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales funnel, including opportunity stages, expected ship/close dates, and revenue projections.
- Work with cross-functional teams across multiple departments to expedite the resolution of customer, order, product, and logistical issues.
- Provide timely sales reporting and updates to management as required.
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities as needed.





Skills & Experience

- 3–5 years of experience in Business Development, Account Management, Sales, or a related commercial role.
- Proven track record of driving measurable sales results and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong business judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate high-impact business development opportunities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Able and willing to travel domestically and internationally as required for the position.
- Superior problem-solving, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and gather information from a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Sales experience in the fitness, wellness, hospitality, healthcare, or related industries is an asset.
- Additional language skills are considered an asset.
