Monte Cristo Bakery is seeking for a Sanitation Worker/Machine Cleaner

Summary:

This position is responsible for cleaning equipment, disinfect surfaces, sanitize all components of the food production and processing equipment and ensure that there is no unnecessary waste along the assembly line

:

· Comply with company policies and procedures, including: GMP, health & safety

· Follow safe work practices and procedures as per company policies and procedures, safe working practices including chemical handling, PPEWork Safe regulations

· Daily cleaning and sanitation of food processing and manufacturing equipment

· Some heavy lifting and moving of machines will be required

· Clean the floors

· Follow secure work practices and procedures as per WorkSafe B.C. and company policies and guidelines

· Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds

· Good knowledge of GMP and Health & Safety





· Perform additional duties as assigned

Shifts:

9:30pm – 6:00am

It is a permanent full time position and we will train.

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Rate: Start rate $20.50/hr or negotiable for experienced candidate. Rate is inclusive of a $2 per hour night shift premium.
