Join our dynamic security team as a Night Shift Security Guard, where your vigilance and proactive approach will ensure the safety and security of our facilities during overnight hours. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a vital part in safeguarding assets, maintaining a secure environment, and supporting loss prevention initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will utilize your law enforcement background, surveillance skills, and CCTV expertise to monitor and protect our premises effectively.

Duties

- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks during night hours
- Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) continuously to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior or security breaches
- Control access points by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors in accordance with security protocols
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with emergency services if necessary
- Perform loss prevention activities by identifying theft or vandalism attempts and documenting incidents accurately
- Complete detailed shift reports, incident logs, and surveillance records to ensure thorough documentation of nightly activities
- Enforce security policies and procedures consistently to maintain a safe workplace for all personnel and assets

Skills

- Strong background in law enforcement or security operations with an understanding of legal protocols and procedures
- Proficiency in surveillance techniques, including operation and troubleshooting of CCTV systems
- Experience in loss prevention strategies to prevent theft, vandalism,



or other security threats
- Ability to remain vigilant for extended periods while maintaining focus on surveillance footage and physical patrols
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and coordinating with emergency responders when needed
- Basic knowledge of emergency response procedures and conflict resolution skills
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, or sit for long durations during night shifts
