Senior Business Analyst – Capital Markets

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

- Engage with portfolio managers| middle office| and trading desks to capture and analyze business needs.
- Translate requirements into clear functional specifications| process flows| and user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Partner with the Product Owner and Technology Area Lead to refine and prioritize the backlog in line with strategic objectives.
- Support delivery of solutions that strengthen efficiency| transparency| and compliance in collateral processes.
- Track progress| remove blockers| and promote agile best practices.
- Break down stories into sizable pieces for Sprint length
- Drive continuous improvement within the team.
- Drive discussions between business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Ensure timely delivery of features and initiatives| highlighting risks and dependencies.
- Communicate status updates and findings clearly to senior management and stakeholders.





Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Finance| Business| Computer Science| Data| or related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in capital markets| with a solid understanding of the portfolio management and trade lifecycle.
- Robust analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Collaborative| proactive| and adaptable to dynamic business needs.
- Outcome-focused| with the ability to balance business priorities and technical constraints.
- Excellent problem-solving| documentation| and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have
- Strong data analysis skills| including ability to query| validate| and interpret datasets.
- Familiarity with portfolio management systems such as Bloomberg| Charles River| Blackrock Aladin.
- Agile certification (CSM| PSM).
