Quolus Construction Services is an industry-leading construction workforce supplier. We are B.C. owned and operated since 1993, focused on large multi-residential projects spanning the Lower Mainland.

Quolus Construction is currently seeking:

Senior Carpenters with at least 3 years of hands-on experience, specifically within multi-residential construction (townhomes, wood-frame, or high-rise).

Core Duties include:

- Tools & equipment: hammers, nailers, tape measure, squares, power tools, levels, ladders & scaffolds, string & chalk lines; lasers & laser levels;
- Materials: ID material types, cut & shape, join & install; take-offs.
- Framing: rough openings, beams & headers, joists & point loads, frame checks, back-framing; cut stairs.
- Basic forms: layout, build.
- Other: install doors & frames, install windows, moldings, hardware, steel-stud adaption.
- Prints & plans: read architectural, read structural.
- Inspections: work with inspectors, coordinate repairs.
- Safety: enforce standards.

Supervisory

- Lead carpenters.
- Coordinate with management.

Other potential specialty duties:

- Steel Stud: Framing, back framing, and reinforcing.
- Specialized Tools: Use of snips, drills, grinders, and powder-actuated tools.
- Complex forms.

Job Requirements:

- 6 years of carpentry experience.
- Red Seal carpenter OR equivalent field experience.
- Proficient in verbal & written English.
- Fall Protection ticket (BC and AB)
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
