You’ll be part of an award-winning collaborative team that values support, quality, partnership, and candidate experience From sourcing talent to presenting candidate profiles to negotiating offers, you’ll own the full-cycle recruitment process for individual contributors to key leadership positions While the primary focus is technology recruiting, you’ll also have plenty of exposure to a broad range of roles, levels and functional areas across the Firm and throughout Canadian provinces Recruit top talent for mid to senior level positions across Canada, with a primary (but not exclusive) focus on technology roles Leverage online recruiting tools and our in-house Applicant Tracking System (Taleo) to identify, engage, and recruit high-quality candidates Conduct candidate assessments to evaluate technical capabilities, experience, and assess against key firm attributes Develop creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive talent Provide market intelligence and recruitment insights to support informed hiring decisions Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers by providing guidance, market insight, and recruitment expertise At Doane Grant Thornton,



you’ll work with inspiring leaders who support your development, both personally and professionally. Think you’ve got what it takes to be a Senior Consultant, Talent Attraction [technology focused recruiter]? 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in an agency and corporate environment ~ You hold an undergraduate degree (preferred) ~ You possess solid cold calling experience and you’re not shy at picking up the phone ~ You have superior research, sourcing and writing skills, including an ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders ~ Proven ability to leverage recruiting technology, talent analytics, and AI-enabled sourcing tools to improve recruitment outcomes ~ You build such deep rapport with people that you can easily have the honest conversations that you know are needed to help achieve our organizational goals ~ You have great business acumen and can make links between what’s happening in the wider world and how we need to respond to help our clients, colleagues and communities thrive ~ Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word and Excel Profit sharing, Flex days, RRSP contributions, Firmwide holiday closure, Wellness benefits, Concierge-like benefits, Work from anywhere in Canada in the summer for 4 weeks, and more!

Thornton we believe compensation should reflect more than just market data—it should reflect you. Our salary ranges are reviewed annually, and where you land within the range depends on a mix of factors—your background, your skills, and how your contributions align with internal equity. To help start the conversation, the current salary range for this role is $85,000–$105,000 in Toronto, ON.

If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors. That’s why we’re working in a model where teams are required to be together in the office 4 days per week.
