About Reliance Foundry

Since 1925, Reliance Foundry has designed and supplied bollards, site furnishings, custom foundry products and perimeter security products, including crash-rated vehicle barriers that protect people and places across North America.

We are a focused B2B company with a lean team, a strong brand and customers ranging from contractors and landscape architects to municipalities, universities and government facilities. Our growth is supported by e-commerce, digital marketing, technical content and product innovation.

The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced marketing leader to shape and lead the next stage of Reliance Foundry’s growth.

As Senior Director of Marketing, you will own marketing strategy, brand, demand generation, e-commerce, product marketing and marketing operations. You will lead the team and work closely with Sales, Product Development, Technology and the CEO to turn company priorities into measurable programs.

This is a hands-on executive role. You will set direction while remaining close to campaigns, content, website performance, product launches and customer data. Your mandate will be to strengthen our digital foundation, adapt to changing customer behaviour and AI-driven discovery, and develop new sources of qualified demand.

What you will own

- Develop and lead the marketing strategy, translating growth priorities into explicit product-category, audience, channel and campaign plans.
- Own marketing’s contribution to qualified demand, pipeline and e-commerce performance, supported by reliable reporting and attribution.
- Build and optimize the full marketing funnel, including lead-generation funnels, e-commerce conversion, keyword strategy, SEO, AEO, PPC, email, webinars and MQL-to-SQL progression.
- Lead, coach and develop the marketing team, establishing clear responsibilities, expectations and development plans.
- Own website strategy and performance, including customer experience, conversion, merchandising, content quality and coordination with Technology.
- Strengthen Reliance’s visibility across traditional search, AI-assisted research and emerging ways customers discover and evaluate products.
- Lead product positioning, messaging and go-to-market planning, ensuring launches have clear target markets, value propositions, commercial objectives and sales tools.
- Develop a deeper understanding of our customers, buying journeys,

market segments and competitors, and turn those insights into action.
- Partner with Sales on lead quality, response standards, funnel conversion, sales enablement and market feedback.
- Protect and strengthen the Reliance brand across campaigns, content, sales materials, events and customer communications.
- Own the marketing budget and manage agencies, technology partners and resources based on strategic importance and demonstrated return.
- Use AI and automation to improve research, content workflows, analysis and team productivity while maintaining quality and brand standards.
- Represent Reliance at relevant trade shows, industry events and customer meetings.

What success looks like

Within your first year, you will have:

- Established a focused marketing strategy tied to revenue plans, priority product categories and target customer segments.
- Created clear measures for qualified demand, funnel performance, e-commerce conversion and marketing return.
- Improved coordination between Marketing and Sales, including lead definitions, handoffs, feedback and shared reporting.
- Strengthened website performance and Reliance’s visibility in traditional and AI-assisted customer research.
- Built repeatable go-to-market plans for new products and underdeveloped categories.
- Clarified team responsibilities and established a consistent rhythm of planning, execution and accountability.
- Identified which marketing activities should be expanded, improved, automated or discontinued.

What you bring

- Significant experience leading B2B marketing where marketing is directly connected to leads, pipeline and revenue.
- A demonstrated record of improving demand gen, digital performance, product marketing and team capability.
- Fluency in marketing funnels, e-comm, SEO, PPC, email, webinars, content, marketing automation and conversion optimization.
- Experience developing positioning and go-to-market plans for technical, specialized or considered-purchase products.
- The ability to use customer,

market and performance data to make decisions and establish priorities.
- Experience managing people, budgets, agencies, technology platforms and competing organizational demands.
- The ability to work cross functionally with Sales, Product Development, Ops, Tech, Finance and the SLT.
- Sound commercial judgment and an understanding of how pricing, margins, product availability and sales capacity affect marketing.
- A practical understanding of AI’s effect on search, content, customer research and marketing operations.
- The ability to communicate complex products and technical information clearly and persuasively.
- Openness to feedback and coaching. We expect our leaders to continue developing, and we invest in that development.

Strong assets

- Experience in manufacturing, industrial products, building products, security products or another specification-driven environment.
- Experience marketing to contractors, architects, engineers, municipalities, universities or government organizations.
- Experience with high-volume inbound lead generation, long project cycles and inside-sales organizations.
- Familiarity with ERP’s(Netsuite), CRM, marketing-automation and business-intelligence platforms.

Who will thrive here

You are a builder who wants to shape a marketing function rather than maintain one. You can develop strategy, establish priorities and engage directly when your involvement will improve the result.

You use evidence to make decisions, communicate expectations clearly and follow through. You understand that strong marketing creates qualified demand, helps customers make decisions, equips Sales to win and strengthens long-term market position.

You value direct access to decision-makers, visible impact and the prospect to help guide a growing company.
