Job Posting Title: Senior Operations, Pharma Specialist Time Type: Full Time Salary starting at $59,000 plus eligible benefits, in accordance with experience and internal equity This posting is for an existing vacancy and not intended to create a talent pipeline The primary function of the Senior Operations, Pharma is to process all Pharma/Healthcare shipments, coordinating the movement and monitoring while in route. The position requires handling of shipments from start to finish ensuring compliance with DSV policies as well as Pharmaceutical and government regulations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers and will provide the highest level of customer service and quality by efficiently processing all inbound and outbound requirements before or within agreed time frames.

Direct communication with customers, overseas offices, airlines or ocean carriers and truckers is required. Daily management and coordination of shipments. Collaborate and cooperate with overseas offices/agents to organize air and ocean shipments.

Create/prepare shipping documents as required. Adhere to all domestic and international shipping regulations, as well as DSV Pharma QMS Policy. Regular communication with customers on shipment updates, issues and resolution.

Responsible for reconciling payables and vendor invoice approvals. Prepare quotes for clients and other network offices/agents. Perform lane analysis to determine most appropriate mode of transport within customer requirements.





Investigating non-conformities and working with Quality teams to develop corrective actions. Quality, Health & Safety Perform assigned tasks to support DSV meets its objectives and targets regarding quality, health, safety and environment and follow all requirements as set out in the DSV Quality Health Safety Environment policy. Staff are required to ensure that their day-to-day activities embrace sustainability, Health and safety therefore reducing the impact upon the environment, supporting the communities we work in and reducing incidents in the workplace.

A minimum of five years international transportation industry experience or, Education in supply chain logistics, international transportation, or a related field of study. CIFFA certificate, an asset Pharmaceutical certification (GDP/GMP), DSV Pharma QMS, etc. an asset Authorized Cargo Representative (ACR) designated status, an asset Good command, both verbal and written, English skills. Service oriented and able to resolve customer grievances Strong interpersonal skills, building skilled relationships internally and externally Ability to multi-task, plan, prioritize and manage time effectively in order to meet goals and achieve results Excellent organizational and time management skills Language and Computer Skills English is the principal language for this position, additional languages may be required in other locations.
