Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership for project planning, construction, commissioning, schedule, budget, safety, and contract management
- Coordinate multiple contractors, suppliers, engineering teams, and project stakeholders
- Lead project planning, procurement, construction sequencing, commissioning, and operational readiness
- Monitor project progress, costs, schedules, risks, quality, and change management
- Review contractor schedules, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
- Lead construction completion, punch-list activities, commissioning, and project handover
- Prepare and present regular project updates and reporting to leadership
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, manage risks, and improve project timelines
- Maintain project risk, cost, change, and contract documentation
- Ensure safety requirements and project standards are consistently followed
- Support project closeout and final documentation
Qualifications
- 15+ years of project management experience on industrial projects
- Extensive experience managing construction and commissioning activitiesProv ed experience coordinating multiple contractors and suppliers
- Experience working within an operating industrial facility
- Strong understanding of project schedules, budgets, contracts, risk, and change management
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Process, Industrial, Chemical, or a related discipline is an asset
Work Requirements
- Must be based in or near Saskatoon
- Regular in-person meetings in Saskatoon
- Travel to a remote project site on a fly-in/fly-out basis
- 11-hour workdays while onsite, including a 1-hour unpaid lunch
- Additional hours may be required with approval
