Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager/Leader to manage large-scale, complex, and high-risk I⁢ initiatives within the Ontario Public Sector (OPS). The role requires strong product management expertise , stakeholder coordination, and end-to-end ownership of project delivery aligned with scope, timelines, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage large-scale, multi-year, multi-million-dollar projects.
- Define and execute product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize business and customer requirements
- Ensure project delivery aligns with scope, schedule, and budget
- Conduct risk management, stakeholder engagement, and issue resolution
- Coordinate across cross-functional teams for seamless delivery
- Manage OPS project assessments (TRA, PIA) and financial planning
- Oversee Agile delivery lifecycle , including release planning and execution
- Ensure compliance with OPS PMO stage gate processes

Requirements

Mandatory Skills (Must Have)

Product Management

- Proven experience in product planning and lifecycle management
- Strong ability to define and execute product vision and strategy
- Experience in building and managing product roadmaps
- Expertise in gathering and prioritizing business requirements




- Experience managing multi-year, high-budget projects
- Solid stakeholder management and scope control capabilities

Project & Technical Skills

- Experience with project management tools :
- Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project, Kanban, Azure DevOps
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud platform
- Experience managing end-to-end project lifecycle

Documentation & Governance

- Experience creating:

- Business Cases

- Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA)

- Threat Risk Assessments (TRA)
- Financial & communication documentation
- Strong experience with Agile artifacts :
- Roadmaps, release plans, epics, user stories

Public Sector Experience

- Familiarity with OPS processes and ITIL framework

- Experience with
- Incident, problem, and release management
- Understanding of OPS PMO Stage Gate framework
- Exposure to Service Ontario / MGCS processes

Nice to Have

- Prior experience working with Ontario Public Sector (OPS)
- Experience in government digital transformation projects

Tools & Technologies

- Project Tools: Jira, Trello, MS Project, Azure DevOps
- Collaboration Tools: MS Teams, Confluence, Miro, Slack, Zoom
- Documentation: Office 365, Google Drive
