Position: Software Developer – CRM – Senior

Client: Government Services Integration Cluster (Ontario Public Service)

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite – 5 Days/Week

Contract: November 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027

Position Overview The Government Services Integration Cluster is seeking a Senior Software Developer – CRM to support the design, development, implementation, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of enterprise CRM solutions.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, Dataverse, .NET/C#, JavaScript, Web APIs, ASP.NET/.NET Core, Entity Framework, Azure SQL, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

This role requires a senior-level developer capable of working across both low-code and custom development within Dynamics 365, while collaborating closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts.

Important: This is a fully onsite position in Toronto. The selected resource must work onsite Monday to Friday during standard working hours of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, excluding lunch breaks.

Key Responsibilities

- Translate technical system specifications into working, tested applications.

- Develop detailed programming specifications and technical designs.

- Write, generate, compile, maintain, and test application code.

- Design, develop, configure, test, debug, document, deploy, and troubleshoot applications.

- Develop and maintain Dynamics 365 CRM and Microsoft Power Platform solutions.

- Perform both low-code development and custom development within Dynamics 365.

- Design and develop Dataverse solutions.

- Develop integrations between Dynamics 365 and other Microsoft cloud technologies.

- Develop and support custom Web APIs, ASP.NET/.NET Core and Azure-based solutions.

- Troubleshoot technical problems arising during software implementation, conversion, migration, and production operations.

- Support Dynamics 365 Customer Service, including case management and customer service capabilities.

- Work with Customer Service Workspace, Agent Experience Profiles, Session Templates, Workstreams, and Routing.

- Develop and support Power Apps, including:
- Model-Driven Apps

- Canvas Apps

- Power Pages

- Custom PCF controls

- Work with Server-Side templating language Liquid where required.

- Work with Azure technologies, Azure SQL, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, task boards, and related development tools.

- Participate in Agile development activities and use Kanban/task boards.

- Conduct unit testing, debugging, technical validation, and deployment activities.

- Resolve post-implementation technical issues and provide ongoing application support.

- Review, analyze, modify, test, and troubleshoot product installation scripts where required.

- Conduct design walkthrough sessions with project teams.

- Prepare technical documentation, reports, reviews, assessments, user documentation, and system documentation.

- Elicit and document technical/business requirements from stakeholders and subject matter experts.





- Collaborate with IT professionals throughout the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Follow structured methodologies for application design, development, implementation, maintenance, and support.

- Apply accessibility requirements, including Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards and related regulations.

- Previous Ontario Public Service (OPS) or broader public-sector experience.

- Dynamics 365 certification(s).

- Azure certification(s).

- Experience with Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodologies.

- Knowledge of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices.

- Experience with middleware and gateway technologies.

- Experience reviewing and modifying product installation scripts.

- Knowledge of AODA and related accessibility standards and regulations.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a Senior Dynamics 365 / CRM Developer with strong hands-on experience across the Microsoft ecosystem and the ability to work across both configuration/low-code and custom development.

Candidates should be particularly strong in:

Dynamics 365 CRM + Customer Service + Power Platform + Azure + Dataverse + .NET/C# + JavaScript + Web API + ASP.NET/.NET Core + Entity Framework + Azure SQL + DevOps/CI-CD.

Experience with Customer Service Workspace, Agent Experience Profiles, Session Templates, Workstreams, Routing, Power Apps, PCF controls, and Liquid is particularly important for this requirement.

Work Location

Toronto, Ontario – 100% onsite The selected candidate must be available to work Monday through Friday onsite, during standard working hours of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, excluding lunch breaks.
