Duties

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct entry
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments
- Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper food preparation, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address guest needs promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas to uphold a welcoming environment
- Assist with basic math calculations for billing, change,



and inventory when needed
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions or concerns professionally and courteously

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong guest service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering tasks
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations within the food industry
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management
- Solid communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Experience with upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and increase sales potential
- Kitchen experience or understanding of food preparation processes is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a hospitality team while maintaining a positive attitude
