Senior Engineering Qualified – Fly-By-Wire & Secondary Flight Controls

Location: Dorval, QC, Canada

We are looking for an experienced Aerospace / Flight Controls Engineer to support the integration, testing, and certification of Fly-By-Wire (FBW) and Secondary Flight Control Systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Integrate FBW and Secondary Flight Control Systems on aircraft.
- Support system design, concepts, and technical solutions with suppliers.
- Develop, review, and validate flight control system requirements.
- Prepare and review test procedures and test reports.
- Support test rig and aircraft testing.
- Troubleshoot aircraft issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Define and implement corrective actions.
- Support system certification and compliance activities.
- Support technical trade studies and future aircraft programs.
- Work with suppliers, engineering teams, regulatory authorities, and aircraft production teams.
- Occasional travel to supplier sites, regulatory authorities, and aircraft facilities may be required.

Required Qualifications




- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of aerospace engineering experience.
- Direct experience with the development and certification of FBW and/or Secondary Flight Control Systems.
- Good understanding of aircraft systems, interfaces, integration, and certification.
- Knowledge of Part 25 certification and ARP4754.
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow is preferred.
- Knowledge of aircraft electrical, hydraulic, avionics, and auto-flight systems.
- Experience with requirements management tools is an asset.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Pay: $100,000.00-$222,000.00 per year
