Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking an experienced Server who is friendly, organized, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant. The ideal candidate remains calm under pressure, pays close attention to details, and understands the importance of teamwork between the dining room and kitchen.

You should have:

- Previous serving experience in a restaurant or similar food-service environment.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Robust organization and time-management abilities.
- A dependable, professional, and positive attitude.
- The ability to manage multiple tables without sacrificing service quality.
- Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Responsible beverage-service training recognized in New Brunswick, or the ability to complete it before serving alcohol.
- The ability to stand for extended periods and carry food, beverages, and serving trays safely.

What You’ll Do

- Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive table service.
- Present menus and explain ingredients,



spice levels, featured dishes, and available options.
- Record food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
- Communicate allergy and dietary requests clearly to the kitchen.
- Recommend menu items and beverages based on guest preferences.
- Check on guests throughout their meals and respond promptly to requests.
- Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure orders are accurate and served on time.
- Process cash, debit, and credit-card payments accurately.
- Keep tables, service areas, and server stations clean and organized.
- Complete assigned opening, closing, cleaning, and side-work duties.
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol-service requirements.
- Support other team members during busy service periods.
