We are seeking an energetic and experienced Server/Front Counter Bistro Associate to join our dynamic team! Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Prepare simple food items as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Handle cashier duties including cash handling, processing payments via POS, and providing correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front counter area, dining space, and food preparation zones in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve customers promptly without compromising quality




- Assist in food handling procedures to ensure proper hygiene and safety protocols are followed at all times

Qualifications

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in serving or front counter roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of food preparation, handling, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling and transactions
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Previous kitchen or food industry experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and evenings as needed
