Server, Cora Halifax on Dresden Row. Days only, no nights.

Cora Halifax is the breakfast and lunch restaurant on Dresden Row, just off Spring Garden. We're hiring servers, full time and part-time.

We open at 6:00 AM Monday to Saturday and 7:00 AM on Sunday, and we close at 3:00 PM every day. No dinner service, no late close, no midnight cash-out. Your evenings are yours.

The work

Cora is a busy breakfast room. Weekend mornings are full, tables turn fast, and most guests want coffee before they've sat down. You'll:

- greet and seat guests, take orders, and know the menu well enough to steer someone between a crêpe and a skillet
- run plates and keep coffee topped up without being asked
- handle payment and close out your own tables
- set up before service and reset the room after it

What we're looking for

- Serving experience. Breakfast, diner, café,



hotel or any busy floor counts
- Cora experience is a real plus. If you've served at a Cora before, you already know the menu and the pace
- Weekend availability. Breakfast is a weekend business, so it's part of the job
- Comfortable with early starts
- Calm and friendly when the room is full. The rush is real, and it's over by early afternoon
- Legally able to work in Canada

Pay Nova Scotia minimum wage, plus your tips.

Who you'd be working for

Cora Halifax is owned and run by Chef's House Hospitality Group, the Halifax team behind Scanway, Bells Lane Kitchen, Jolt and Citadel Coffee Bar. The owners are in the restaurant most mornings, and you'll interview with them, not with a head office. If you want more hours down the road, there's room across the group.
