Forge Kia is Sault Ste. Marie’s newest dealership — the former World Cars Kia, now under new ownership and officially relaunched this week as Forge Kia. We’re rebuilding the service department from the ground up, with a brand-new purpose-built facility planned for 2028, and we’re hiring the people who will help us do it.

We’re looking for a Service Advisor to join our team immediately, ahead of tire-change season. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for service — walking them through what their vehicle needs, keeping them informed while work is done, and making sure they leave knowing they were taken care of.

We don’t require automotive experience. We hire for character — people who are organized, communicate clearly, stay calm when things get busy, and genuinely care about doing right by the customer. If you’ve worked in a fast-paced customer-facing role before (retail, hospitality, call centre, anywhere trust and communication mattered), we want to hear from you. We’ll teach you the rest.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers and write up service requests accurately and clearly
- Communicate recommended service and repair work to customers in plain language, including pricing and timing




- Keep customers updated throughout the day on the status of their vehicle
- Coordinate with technicians and the shop to keep the service drive moving
- Close out repair orders and process payment
- Help build trust with customers new to the Forge Kia brand during our transition

Qualifications

- Strong communicator, comfortable talking to people face-to-face and on the phone
- Organized and able to manage multiple customers/vehicles at once
- Reliable, on time, and accountable
- Valid driver’s licence
- Automotive or service-advisor experience is a plus but not required — we’ll train the right person
- Comfortable learning new software
