Service & Installation Technician
Location: Niagara Falls, ON
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Work Arrangement: In office, with occasional travel across Southern Ontario
Position Summary
Signature Sign & Image is looking for a dependable Service & Installation Technician to install, service and repair custom signage, illuminated signs and digital displays.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, remove and repair signage, supports and lighting components.
- Review drawings, take site measurements, and prepare and load materials.
- Use hand tools, power tools and access equipment safely within your training.
- Troubleshoot issues, test completed work and report concerns to your supervisor.
- Complete safety checks, follow safety procedures, and keep tools and work areas organized.
- Communicate with clients and the team; submit job notes, photos and timecards.
Qualifications
Required
- At least 1 year of experience in construction or commercial environment.
- Valid G-class driver’s licence with at least 3 years of driving experience.
- Comfortable working outdoors year-round, lifting up to 75 lbs and working at heights up to 200 ft.
- Mechanical aptitude, safe tool use, good communication and a reliable work ethic.
- Willing to travel 3+ hours from Niagara Falls in company vehicles, with overtime as required.
Preferred
- Sign installation or service experience,
electrical troubleshooting skills, and experience operating boom trucks or cranes.
- Current Working at Heights and Aerial Lift Platform training.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Wage: $21-$23/hour, based on experience** and qualifications.
