This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor, develop hands-on skills, and work toward a long-term goal of becoming a Red Seal Automotive Service Technician. Whether you’re brand new to the industry or already working through your apprenticeship, we’d like to hear from you.

The opportunityOur shop services cars, SUVs, and light- and medium-duty trucks, giving you exposure to a variety of vehicles and repairs. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians, help with daily shop operations, and build a foundation in safe work practices, proper tool use, maintenance, and repair.

For someone starting out, that means learning the fundamentals while helping keep the shop clean, organized, and running smoothly. As your skills develop, there will be opportunities to take on more technical responsibilities under supervision. For an existing apprentice, responsibilities will reflect your experience and stage of training.

We’re looking for a future technician—not just someone to fill a shop-hand position.

What you’ll be doing• Supporting our technicians: Assist with vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs appropriate to your training and under supervision.

- Keeping the shop running smoothly: Help organize tools, parts, and supplies, and maintain clean,



safe work areas.
- Building your skills: Learn proper procedures, ask questions, take direction, and apply what you learn.
- Being part of the team: Communicate clearly, lend a hand where needed, and take pride in work that helps the whole shop succeed.

What we’re looking forYou don’t need years of experience to get started. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, has a positive attitude, and genuinely wants to learn the automotive trade. You should enjoy hands-on work, be comfortable with an active shop environment, and understand that doing the basics well is part of becoming a good technician. A willingness to listen, follow safety procedures, care for tools and equipment, and support your teammates matters.

Previous automotive experience or current apprenticeship registration is an asset, but entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply.
