We're an established, unionized BC heavy civil contractor. We build infrastructure for public agencies and major private developers, on sites across the Lower Mainland and throughout the province. We're growing, many of our people have been with us for years, and we promote from within wherever we can. Safety and environmental performance come first on every site. We're looking for a superintendent to take full field ownership of complex projects.

Responsibilities

- Lead field operations from mobilization to closeout, covering safety, schedule, production and quality
- Plan and sequence the work, and manage foremen, crews, equipment and subtrades
- Build look-ahead schedules and hold crews to production targets
- Work with the PM on cost, changes, and client and consultant relationships
- Resolve site issues quickly and practically

Qualifications

- 10+ years of heavy civil experience, with 3+ years as a superintendent




- Experience on multi-million-dollar projects
- Public-sector infrastructure experience is a strong asset
- A proven record on safety, schedule and budget
- Familiar with GPS and machine control, and strong at scheduling
- Willing to travel within BC for out-of-town projects

This is a confidential search. Pay: $135,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
