This boutique Hotel is part of the Ascend Collection by Choice, including 25 recently renovated rooms, all of them with specific characteristics, 13 one to three-bedroom condo suites, all at the base of the tallest ski resort in the Ottawa Valley.

Calabogie Peaks Resort is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and proactive Adventure Centre Supervisor.

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Adventure Centre Supervisor to join our team. As an Adventure Centre Supervisor, you will be accountable for the setup, operation and close-out of our Ski Adventure Centre area (Selling tickets and passes), as well as Customer service in the retail and Lodge area. Your main responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, managing the Adventure Centre staff, creating schedules, covering high-demand shifts, coordinating the placement and sale of products and items at the Shop and tickets, and assisting with guest inquiries and requests.

This role is ideal for someone who is friendly, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the sale of ski and snowboard products and services at Calabogie Peaks Resort
- Ensure Resort operating standards are consistently maintained at the Adventure Centre
- Work a regularly scheduled Adventure Centre shift
- Be available to work any shift as needed
- Schedule snow school lesson and programswithin a busy, in-bound call and ticket centre
- Provide customers with detailed information about the Resort’s products and services
- As one of the initial 'voices' of Calabogie Peaks,



the Adventure Center Supervisor ensures that the call center answers inbound phone calls timely
- Lead the team by knowledgeably marketing and promoting Resort winter products, programs, packages and amenities
- Assign Ski instructor lessons
- Support Mountain Cat Café by providing staffing support as cashiers
- Support the retail shop by providing staffing as needed
- Support the hotel Front Desk by providing telephone answering services as it pertains to recreation
- Handle cash, credit card and debit card payments
- Complete cash balancing activities

Qualifications: · Strong computer skills

· Experience working with cash in a retail environment

· Enthusiastic, friendly and professional telephone manner

· Articulate with a good command of the English language

· Detail oriented and the ability to remain calm under pressure

· Enjoys working in a team atmosphere

· Must be available to work shifts; including evenings, weekends and holidays

· Most work all weekends during the season

Qualifications & Skills

- Education: High School Diploma required; Post-secondary education is an asset
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Customer Service supervisor, ticket sales, ski mountain or similar.

- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations.

Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
