We are seeking a skilled and motivated Skilled Laborer to support civil construction projects. This role involves preforming a wide range of general labour duties, assisting equipment operators and supervisors, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work site.

Duties

- Digging and filling trenches in coordination with excavator operators
- Performing groundwork and basic formwork.
- Loading and unloading materials (heavy lifting required)
- Leveling and grading ground surfaces using brooms and rakes
- Carrying, distributing, and organizing tools and materials across the job site
- Measuring and laying out work areas as directed
- Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute project tasks accurately
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to perform construction activities such as framing, concrete finishing, tile laying, and electrical installations




- Measure dimensions accurately for precise cuts and installations
- Maintain a clean and safe work setting by following safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

- 1-2 years general labourer experience preferred (prior civil construction experience is considered an asset)
- Physically fit and able to perform demanding manual labour
- Comfortable working around heavy equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Active listening skills and ability to follow directions
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation
- Valid BC Drivers License

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
