Carrier Plumbing & Heating is a family-owned and operated company committed to quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. We are hiring skilled tradespeople for single-family and multi-family residential projects, light commercial work, new construction, renovations, and service calls. What you will do

Duties will depend on your trade, experience, and certification and may include:

· Install and replace furnaces, ductwork, unit and radiant heaters, HRVs, ERVs, and air purification systems; service and troubleshoot HVAC equipment.

· Complete equipment venting, gas piping, and drainage connections; perform gas fitting from rough-in through commissioning within your certification scope.

· Install, service, and repair plumbing and heating systems, hot water tanks, tankless water heaters, gas furnaces, and fireplaces.

· Repair water and drainage leaks; install sinks, tubs, and toilets; complete plumbing rough-ins and finishing for new construction and renovations.

· Work safely, coordinate with other trades, communicate professionally with customers, and complete accurate job records.

What you bring





· Relevant journeyperson certification or experience as an apprentice in HVAC, sheet metal, or plumbing. Class B Gasfitter certification is required for the journeyperson plumber/gas fitter role.

· For HVAC roles, at least two years of HVAC experience. Residential and light commercial experience, especially current construction, is valued.

· Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, a dependable work ethic, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· A valid Class 5 driver’s licence, a clean driver’s abstract, and your own hand and cordless tools.

· Availability for occasional weekend work and participation in the on-call rotation. Experience across trades and backflow testing capabilities are assets.

Pay benefits and schedule

Pay: Competitive wages based on qualifications and experience. Company vehicle, phone allowance, boot allowance, and health benefits after a three-month probation period.

Regular schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with eight-hour day shifts and some on-call work.
