Overview

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as Snow and Junk Removal Laborer with clean class 5 licence. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our community by collecting waste and recyclables and clearing snow for residential homes. This position requires physical stamina, attention to safety protocols, and a commitment to providing excellent service. * AIR BRAKES AN ASSET BUT NOT REQUIRED)

Duties

- Must be Availablility for snow shovelling on demand with the weather for residential properties. (November to March)(Must have no accidents or tickets) need to be able to insure for driver while having 1 passenger. (#1 priority in winter)
- Snow plowing experience for parking lots and asset but will train.
- Operate a 1 ton truck with 15ft trailer and able to back up for Junk collection safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations.
- Collect waste and recyclables from residential and commercial properties with navigation through a driver's app.
- Perform heavy lifting up to 100lbs of garbage ensuring proper handling techniques to avoid injury.
- Assist in the loading of collected materials onto the truck for transport to disposal or recycling facilities.
- Conduct routine inspections of the collection vehicle to ensure it is in valuable working condition.
- Maintain a clean work environment by ensuring that all collected materials are properly disposed of.




- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding route issues or equipment malfunctions.

.REQUIREMENTS
- Valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driving abstract
- Snow plowing experience for parking lots an asset but will train.
- Must be able to pull and back up a 15 ft trailer.
- Roll off truck experience an asset as well but will train
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, as the role involves handling large objects and bags of waste
- Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures while on the job.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork and record keeping skills a must and a positive attitude towards serving the community.
- Previous experience in waste management or similar roles is a plus but not required. Join us in making a difference in our community through responsible waste collection and snow removal.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
