Content Creator – Social Media & Video

Kelsey's Original Roadhouse is looking for a creative, energetic Content Creator to help bring our restaurants to life on social media.

We're looking for someone who understands short-form video and can take a piece of content from idea → filming → editing → posting-ready video.

What You'll Do

- Visit our Kelsey's locations to film food, drinks, staff, events and restaurant experiences
- Develop creative ideas for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and other social content
- Film high-quality vertical videos using a phone or camera
- Edit videos into engaging, fast-paced social media content
- Add music, captions, transitions, graphics and trending sounds where appropriate
- Create content around new menu items, promotions, events and seasonal campaigns
- Come up with fun concepts featuring our team and restaurant atmosphere
- Stay current with TikTok and Instagram trends and adapt relevant trends for the Kelsey's brand
- Work with management to build a consistent content schedule
- Occasionally capture photos for social media

What We're Looking For We're less concerned about formal education and more interested in creativity and what you can produce.

The ideal candidate

- Has experience creating TikTok, Instagram Reel or similar short-form content
- Is comfortable filming and directing people on camera
- Can independently come up with content ideas
- Has strong video-editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut or similar software




- Understands hooks, pacing, trends and what makes people stop scrolling
- Is comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment
- Is reliable and able to meet content deadlines
- Has an interest in food, restaurants, hospitality or lifestyle content

Portfolio Required Please include links to your Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, portfolio or examples of videos you've created with your application.

We want to see your creativity, filming style and editing ability.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week

Application question(s)

- Do you own or have reliable access to equipment capable of recording high-quality vertical social media video (professional camera or high-quality smartphone)?
- Are you able to independently edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts?
- Are you comfortable coming up with your own creative concepts and video ideas rather than only filming from provided scripts?
- Can you provide a portfolio, Instagram/TikTok account, or links to videos that you personally filmed and/or edited?
