WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Create engaging content across TikTok, Instagram, X, and other relevant social platforms.
- Be an on-camera personality for HotTakes, creating short-form videos, reactions, sports takes, explainers, trends, interviews, and other personality-driven content.
- Help develop a recognizable social voice and personality that resonates with sports-focused Gen Z audiences.
- Turn major sports moments, trending stories, memes, and conversations into timely, entertaining content.
- Brainstorm and execute creative video concepts designed to stop the scroll and spark conversation.
- Film and edit short-form content using tools like CapCut, Canva, or similar platforms.
- Stay on top of social trends, sounds, formats, memes, and emerging content styles - and identify opportunities to adapt them for HotTakes.
- Create real-time content around game days, drafts, trades, major sporting events, and other relevant moments.
- Engage with users, creators, sports accounts, and communities to grow HotTakes' presence.
- Collaborate with our growth and marketing teams on campaigns, activations, partnerships, and content ideas.
- Occasionally support in-person content opportunities, events, interviews, or activations when relevant.





WHAT YOU BRING

- Strong on-camera presence - you're confident, engaging, personable, and comfortable speaking naturally to an audience.
- Experience creating social content, whether for a brand, creator, sports page, personal account, or your own audience.
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, X, and short-form social content.
- Video editing skills using tools such as CapCut, InShot, Canva, or similar platforms.
- Genuine interest in sports and the conversations, personalities, memes, and culture surrounding them.
- Ability to take an idea from concept → filming → editing → posting without needing a huge production setup.
- A natural sense for what makes content entertaining, shareable, and relevant.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to keep copy conversational, punchy, and far from corporate.
- Ability to spot trends early and creatively adapt them to fit the HotTakes brand.
- Self-starter mentality with strong time management and the ability to move quickly.
- Willingness to experiment, try unconventional ideas, and occasionally make yourself look a little ridiculous for a good piece of content.

Bonus points if you:

- Have experience creating sports, gaming, betting, or entertainment content.
- Have built your own TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, or other social following.
- Have experience with street interviews, event content, sports commentary, or personality-led videos.




- Follow sports closely enough that your group chat already gets your unsolicited takes.
