Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Freight Sorter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing and sorting freight efficiently to different lines for the final mile delivery. This position is an afternoon/evening shift, Sunday through Thursday with varying start times from 02:00pm to 04:00am.

Duties:

- Sort and categorize items based on predetermined criteria
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sorting area
- Use computer and scanner to track and forward freight
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations both verbally and written
- Utilize organizational skills to streamline sorting processes

Experience

- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Strong organizational skills to maintain an efficient work environment




- Knowledge of the Edmonton and surrounding areas would be considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Able to lift, carry, push, pull 75lbs without assistance and 150lbs with assistance
- This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable organizational and communication skills while contributing to a dynamic team environment
