MissionAs an Automation Specialist, you will play a key role in the design, programming and commissioning of automated industrial systems for a variety of custom projects.

Your responsibilities will include: Designing and programming PLC, HMI and drive systems for automated equipment

- Developing electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Supporting factory acceptance testing (FAT), equipment commissioning and customer start-ups when required
- Providing technical support to engineering, production and field service teams
- Troubleshooting automation systems and implementing effective solutions
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives related to automation and engineering practices
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.

- Strong knowledge of Allen-Bradley platforms (RSLogix 500, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View ME);

Experience with Siemens TIA Portal

- Knowledge of Step7, GE or Omron platforms is considered an asset;

Experience programming PLCs, HMIs and variable frequency drives

- Robot programming experience (FANUC and/or ABB) is an asset
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical design software is an asset
- Fluent in both French and English
- Spanish language skills are considered an asset
