: Surgery Specialists are responsible for performing various key functions within the Integrated Urban Health - Acute Care Surgical Services portfolio.

Specialists are responsible for performing various key functions within the Acute Care Surgical Services portfolio.
Surgery
Specialist will be key members in development planning, implementation, and support of strategic improvement initiates related to improving surgical services. They will demonstrate knowledge and experience with change management, quality improvement and project management. The Specialist demonstrates strong leadership to enable an innovative and positive working climate and a client-centric culture. The Specialist must work cross functionally within the portfolio and across the organization to support operations. The Specialist will develop partnerships and work closely with system and community partners.

Experience
- Five (5) years leadership experience
Education
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in a health related field
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Nursing
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
