YORK CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD Invites applications for the position of: OSSTF - Speech Language Pathologist One (1) Temporary Full Time Position (35 hpw) Effective Date: Immediately - June 30, 2027 OSSTF_PSSP 6 - $49.20 - $68.23 per hour (plus vacation pay) Under the direction of the Supervisor – Speech language Services, Speech Language Pathologists provide assessment, consultation and therapeutic programs for students with communications needs to support students in accessing the curriculum and be successful academically. Conduct assessment/screening, identify specific communication and literacy needs and subsequently provide recommendations including submission of SEA Claims. Collaborate with educator teams and other members of the Multidisciplinary Team in the formulation of communication goals that will enable students to best access their academic curriculum and experience success at school.

As required, complete referrals to pertinent community agencies; Provide professional development/in-service training, as required. Provide school and families with materials, references or resources, as required. Liaise with partner agencies in order to ensure that students are communicatively successful in as many environments as possible (i.e., school, home and community).

Maintain clinical records as per departmental procedures.
