Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Stable Hand and become an essential part of maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning equine facility. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for caring for horses, managing stable operations, and ensuring the health and safety of both animals and staff. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will help keep the reliable running smoothly, supporting the well-being of our beloved horses and the overall success of our farm operations.

Responsibilities

- Feed and water horses
- Clean stalls, paddocks, and barn to maintain a hygienic environment
- Operate farm machinery such as tractors, side by side, and quad
- Perform routine maintenance on stable facilities and equipment to ensure safety standards are met
- Manage heavy lifting tasks involving feed bags, hay bales, or equipment parts with proper technique (minimum lifting requirement: 50lbs)
- Monitor horse behavior for signs of illness or distress and report issues promptly





Requirements

- Ability to lift heavy objects safely as part of daily responsibilities
- Experience working with farm equipment is preferred
- Prior experience caring for horses or livestock is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong physical stamina to handle long hours on your feet in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure the safety and health of animals and staff
