We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist to join our dynamic healthcare team in both full-time and part-time capacities. Duties
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper medication administration according to medical orders
- Provide expert guidance on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions to patients and healthcare providers
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and review patient care plans, especially for pediatric and acute care cases
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all prescriptions, patient interactions, and medication records in accordance with regulatory standards
- Monitor inventory levels, order medications as needed, and ensure proper storage conditions for all pharmaceuticals
- Educate patients on medication adherence,
safety protocols, and health management strategies to optimize outcomes
- Stay current with medical terminology updates, pharmacy laws, and new medication therapies to enhance patient care services
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Pharmacist in a hospital or clinical setting with exposure to acute care environments
- Demonstrated ability to handle pediatric medication needs with sensitivity and precision
- Robust background in patient care, including medication counseling and health education
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to hospital pharmacy practice
- Experience administering medications in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
- Prior involvement in multidisciplinary healthcare teams is highly desirable
- Certification as a licensed Pharmacist in good standing is required
