We are seeking an experienced Stone Installer to manage the on-site installation of our countertops and custom stone pieces. This position is ideal for an installer who leads their own crew, addresses any issues that arise on-site, and takes pride in delivering a clean and precise finished installation in the customer's home.
Key Responsibilities
- Install natural stone, quartz, and engineered stone countertops, vanities, and backsplashes
- Install stone fireplace surrounds and hearths, and shower walls, bases, and benches
- Perform on-site modifications as needed, including cutting, scribing, and fitting adjustments
- Take accurate field measurements and confirm site conditions before and during installation
- Use a tablet to manage the installation schedule and review work orders and job paperwork
- Transport, handle, and set heavy stone pieces safely with your crew
- Leave every job site clean and communicate professionally with homeowners and contractors
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of stone countertop installation experience
- Proven experience installing stone fireplaces and showers
- Ability to perform on-site modifications with confidence and accuracy
- Robust measuring skills and attention to detail
- WSIB Clearance Certificate (Mandatory)
- Liability Insurance Certificates (Mandatory)
- Own truck suitable for transporting stone, plus your own installation tools
- Established helper(s) or install crew
- Valid driver’s licence
- Comfortable using a tablet for scheduling and reviewing paperwork
- Reliable, punctual, and professional on customer sites
