Login to your McGill Workday account and apply to this posting using the Find Jobs report (type Find Jobs in the search bar).Position SummaryThe Faculty of Law is seeking a highly organized, technology-savvy McGill student to support the implementation and adoption of two new examination platforms, Ans and Schoolyear, which will be used for the first time within the Faculty.Working closely with the Student Affairs Office, the Exam Systems Documentation & Training Assistant will familiarize themselves with both platforms and help develop the documentation, training materials, and support resources required for successful implementation. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping students, instructors, invigilators, and administrative staff navigate new examination processes and technology.This position is ideal for a student with strong technical aptitude, excellent written communication skills, and an interest in user support, instructional design, documentation development, or technology onboarding.Key ResponsibilitiesSoftware Learning and TestingDevelop a strong working knowledge of the Ans and Schoolyear platformsTest platform functionality from the end-user perspectiveParticipate in user acceptance testing and quality assurance activitiesIdentify and document issues, challenges, and user experience concernsAssist in developing recommendations to improve user processes and workflowsDocumentation and Resource DevelopmentAdapt vendor-provided resources for use within the Faculty of Law contextDevelop and maintain clear, user-friendly documentation for various stakeholder groupsCreate:Student user guidesFaculty user guidesAdministrative procedures manualsTroubleshooting resourcesFrequently Asked Questions (FAQ) materialsExam support workflow documentationKnowledge base contentProduce annotated screenshots, reference sheets, and other support materialsTraining and Implementation SupportSupport the development of onboarding and training materials for students, instructors, invigilators, and administrative staffCreate presentation materials and instructional resources to support training sessions delivered by Student Affairs staffAssist in the development of short instructional videos and visual learning resourcesSupport implementation planning activities related to the rollout of the platformsUser SupportAssist with responding to user questions related to Ans and SchoolyearProvide support during examination periods as requiredHelp triage and document technical issues experienced by usersAssist with maintaining consistent support documentation and proceduresDesired CharacteristicsThe ideal candidate:Enjoys learning current software and systemsCan quickly identify what users need to know to be successfulIs skilled at translating complex information into clear instructionsHas strong problem-solving abilitiesEnjoys improving processes and user experiencesIs comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders, including students, faculty members, and administrative staffDeliverablesBy the end of the appointment,

La personne retenue jouera un rôle important afin d’aider les étudiants, les enseignants, les surveillants et le personnel administratif à se familiariser avec les nouveaux processus et outils technologiques liés aux examens.Ce poste convient particulièrement à un(e) étudiant(e) ayant de solides aptitudes techniques, d’excellentes compétences en communication écrite et un intérêt pour le soutien aux utilisateurs, la conception pédagogique,
