Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Supervisor for our Commercial Cleaning team. In this vital leadership role, you will oversee daily cleaning operations across various commercial sites, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. Your proactive approach will motivate and guide cleaning staff, coordinate schedules, and uphold quality control to deliver exceptional service.

Duties

- Lead and supervise a team of commercial cleaners, providing explicit direction and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to standard
- Develop daily work schedules, assign cleaning duties, and monitor progress to meet client expectations
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to verify cleanliness, safety compliance, and adherence to company policies
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations




- Maintain accurate records of work performed, supplies used, and staff attendance for reporting purposes
- Communicate effectively with clients to address concerns, gather feedback, and ensure satisfaction
- Enforce health and safety regulations by promoting proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals, ensuring full adherence to OHS and WHMIS standards

Experience & Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of proven custodial or commercial cleaning experience, with a strong understanding of professional cleaning techniques, standards, and equipment
- Required Certifications:
- WHMIS for Managers and Supervisors
- WHMIS for Workers
- OHS for Managers and Supervisors
- Asbestos Awareness Certification (St. John Ambulance)
- Basic First Aid Certification (St. John Ambulance)

Pay: $28.00-$31.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
