We are currently recruiting for a Supplier Development Engineer to join a Tier-1 manufacturing environment supporting machining and assembly of powertrain components.

What you’ll be doing:

- Supplier development, audits and performance management
- Lead APQP, PPAP, PFMEA and Control Plans
- Drive supplier corrective actions using 8D, 5-Why and RCA
- Improve supplier quality, delivery and manufacturing processes
- Monitor supplier KPIs and identify supply chain risks
- Work closely with Purchasing, Quality, Engineering and Production

What we’re looking for:

- 5+ years of supplier quality/development experience
- Automotive or heavy-duty manufacturing experience
- Solid APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and IATF 16949 knowledge
- Experience with SAP, GD&T; and supplier audits
- Machining, castings, forgings and heat-treatment knowledge is an asset
