When customers experience a condominium loss or face a liability claim, the process can involve multiple parties, policies, and complex decisions.
As a Claims Advisor III, Condominium and Liability, you will provide clear guidance, thoughtful advice, and dependable support when customers need it most. You will manage moderately complex condominium and third-party liability claims while supporting Quebec customers, condominium syndicates, property managers, third-party insurers, vendors, and internal Claims partners. You will investigate losses, assess coverage and liability, negotiate fair resolutions, and keep customers informed throughout the claims journey.
Guide customers through the claims process with empathy, clarity, and confidence. Manage moderately complex residential condominium and third-party liability claims from investigation through resolution. Review policy coverage, declarations of co-ownership, supporting documents, estimates, reports, invoices, and other available evidence.
Review and respond to third-party demands and subrogation claims. Maintain clear and accurate claim documentation, reserves, correspondence, and follow-up activities. Identify emerging risks, potential fraud, sensitive customer concerns, or complex matters and elevate them when appropriate.
Manage your workload to meet customer, service, quality, and productivity commitments.
Advanced
French and English language skills are required. Valid claims adjuster license issued or recognized by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF). Four or more years of relevant claims, insurance, investigation, or related experience.
Experience handling residential property, condominium, casualty, or liability claims. Demonstrated empathy and the ability to explain complex decisions in clear language. Strong organization, prioritization, and claims desk-management skills. Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain the claims-adjusting license required for the role.
Preferred
Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Chartered Insurance
Qualified, CIP, designation, or progress toward completion. Knowledge of residential construction, building materials, restoration, or repair estimating.
Experience sharing technical knowledge, coaching, or supporting other claims professionals.
