Job Details - Hiring Unit: Department of Human Genetics

- Course Title: Population Genetics
- Course Code: HGEN 661
- Estimated Number of Positions: 1
- Total Hours of Work per Term: 100 Position Summary Help prepare programming exercises for a graduate population genetics course. Together with instructor, prepare and test code, code documentation, and data. Help students in-class with programming and population genetics questions. Discuss assignment results with students and assess completion.

Qualifications Required Proficiency in python. Valuable knowledge of population genetics and statistics.

Role Description A Teaching Assistant is a Graduate Student at the Master’s or Doctoral level, at McGill University, employed to assist a course coordinator. Language and Eligibility Requirements Effective communication skills in English are essential. Before applying, please note that to work at McGill University, you must be both authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located.
